Welcome to the Huntington Bicycle Club
The third club meeting for 2015 is scheduled for Wed. June 3rd! Mark your calendar. Pizza starts at 7:00 and the agenda starts at 7:30 - Harborfields Library, Greenlawn
We will be having a special guest speak about his journey from obesity to cycling fitness as an instructor and racer….. A NOT TO BE MISSED MEETING!My name is Steven Osani, I’m 50 yrs old now, but my journey into fitness started approximately 10 yrs ago. My weight peaked at 368 lbs. and I had a 58 inch waistline. Health wise I was ok. Nothing wrong, but me being in the medical field for 22 yrs I knew the problems were coming, so it was time to stop fooling around and get down to business. I lost 170 lbs over a 3 yr. period, the natural way, no pills ,surg, eft. Just hard work, (done correctly,) and eating right. I will be addressing the club about my journey, my slip ups and my conquests. I look forward to sharing how I did it, and everything else with you. Hope to meet you all soon. Thanks for having me. Steven Osani.
- Arne will also be giving a safety lecture

Group rides start from Smith St. train parking lot in Greenlawn. Riders of all ability are welcome to join. For faster rides we have a racing team (multiple podium finishes in recent years!).
The Club tour of the north shore ‘gold coast’ of Long Island was packed with riders from all over the tri-state area who got a taste of the hills. Check out our facebook page to see photos that have been uploaded and upload some of your own! We are in the planning stages for an even better ride for 2015. Check our Safety Page for tips and tricks for safer riding.
